Musical Horizons Summer School Bookings Open

We are delighted to announce that Musical Horizons is returning to Summerhill College from July 11-15th after a two-year hiatus. Bookings open this Monday April 4th at Hawk’s Well Theatre.

Five fun-filled days of music, dance and film making classes await children and young people aged 7-17 years. There’s something for everyone, from the pop diva to the aspiring DJ. This years camp will be led by musical director, Niamh Crowley, who will direct the unmissable final performance on Friday 15th.

Choose one from each of the following:

1. Ensembles – Orchestra, Guitar Orchestra, Sligo Youth Voices, World Percussion Orchestra

2. Groups – Jazz Band, Rock Band, Pop Group, Ukulele Group

3. Instruments – Stage School, Piano, Drums, Guitar*,Bass Guitar*, Vocals*, Ukulele*, Harp*,Keyboard*, Woodwind, Strings

*Beginner options available

Choose four from the following:

4. Dance, Art and music, Percussion, Glockenspiel*,Discovering Music, Songwriting, Film (12+ hour class), Music Technology (12+ hour class)

*The glockenspiel is a pitched percussion instrument with metal bars that are struck by a hard mallet; it is similar to a xylophone

Your booking will not be complete until this form is returned. Applications close Friday May 6th but may close earlier due to demand so please book early.
