Roisin Egan

Roisin-Egan-Pic-MGS-2011Born in Sligo, Professional Soprano Roisin Egan graduated with honours from the DIT Conservatoire of Music where she pursued a Bachelor of Music Degree specialising in Performance. Classically trained, Roisin commenced her formal vocal studies at the age of 14 when she was offered a scholarship to study voice at the Royal Irish Academy of Music in Dublin. Roisin currently teaches Voice in the Sligo Academy of Music covering all aspects of vocal technique and is also the director of the award winning Sligo Academy of Music Choir. Roisin is also trained in the ‘ColourStrings’ teaching method which is an exceptional approach to early musicianship training that can be used up to Conservatoire level.
